SOUTH FLORIDA – Michael S. Bender, firm member of South Florida community association law firm Kaye & Bender P.L., has been appointed for a three-year term to the 17th Judicial Circuit Florida Bar Grievance Committee serving Broward County.
The Grievance Committee acts as a grand jury and decides whether there is probable cause a lawyer violated the professional conduct rules imposed by the Supreme Court of Florida and whether discipline against the lawyer appears to be justified. The Committee is comprised of at least three members and at least one member is not an attorney.
