Morton’s The Steakhouse Extends Power Hour to Seven Days a Week

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (June 23, 2011) – By popular demand, Morton’s The Steakhouse in Jacksonville has extended its Power Hour specials to Saturdays. Guests now can enjoy their favorite Bar Bites and special pricing on select wines by the glass, beers and cocktails seven days a week from 5 p.m. to close in the restaurant’s bar.

Morton’s bar is an ideal casual dining destination after work, if you’re heading to the theater or a sporting event, or if you just want to unwind in a comfortable, upscale setting. During Power Hour, Morton’s bar offers a taste-tempting variety of signature Bar Bites for just $5 and $6 a plate, including Petite Filet Mignon Sandwiches, Mini Prime Cheeseburgers, Crab Cake BLTs and more. Power Hour pricing on select wines by the glass, beers and cocktails ranges from $5 to $7.50.

Because Morton’s bountiful Bar Bites are priced at just $5 and $6 per plate during Power Hour, you can pick two menu items, add one of the specially-priced wines by the glass, beers or cocktails, and still spend less than $20 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, when dining at the bar.

The Morton’s Prime Sirloin Burger and fries also will be available at the bar for $17. In addition to the Bar Bites menu, guests may order from Morton’s regular dinner menu, which includes Morton’s legendary Prime USDA steaks and a variety of fresh seafood and lobster.

Morton’s bar features more than 50 martinis at regular prices, including Morton’s new signature “Spa-tinis,” an award-winning wine list, the finest spirits, domestic and imported beers, cordials and coffee drinks.
