Pierson Grant Public Relations VP Marielle Sologuren Honored as Hispanic Woman of Distinction

Pierson Grant Public Relations Vice President Marielle Sologuren was among 12 Latinas honored for her contributions to the South Florida community at the 16th Annual Hispanic Women of Distinction Charity luncheon on August 25 at the Signature Grand in Davie. The event benefitted the Jessica June Children’s Cancer Fund and Pace Center for Girls.

 

Presented by Latina Style Magazine in partnership with Bank of America and AARP, the highly-promoted celebration brought to the forefront the contributions of Hispanic women from South Florida. Hundreds of guests were in attendance, including philanthropists, business leaders, and elected officials.

At Pierson Grant Public Relations, Sologuren assists hundreds of journalists from around the world in covering the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and other boat shows throughout Florida. She also leads PR programs for clients in the healthcare, real estate and legal industries, including Holy Cross Hospital and the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, among others.

Active in the community, Sologuren serves on the board of governors for the United Way of Broward County’s Commission on Substance Abuse and as co-chair of the organization’s youth action team, where she focuses on prevention programming.

In 2016, she received a Top Workplace Professional award from the South Florida Sun Sentinel and was named as one of South Florida Business & Wealth Magazine’s Up and Comer finalists. Sologuren received her Bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida.

She resides in Fort Lauderdale with her husband and infant daughter.
