Start the Holiday Season with Music and Fun at the Suntrust Sunday Jazz Brunch this November

FORT LAUDERDALE – With Thanksgiving right around the corner, enjoy a fun relaxing day with family and friends at the SunTrust Sunday Jazz Brunch, which brings music, the Florida sunshine and people together on November 6. The event features three hours of free music on three stages from 10:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. along the New River in Fort Lauderdale’s scenic Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District.

This month Brunch at the Broward Center provides music lovers with a lavish buffet that includes pancakes, waffles, Eggs Benedict with all the trimmings, a full carving station, shrimp and fresh catch of the day, pastries, fruits, yogurts and more. Enjoy it all in the beautiful Broward Center Peck Courtyard while listening to the best in free jazz along the Riverwalk. Brunch service is offered from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Einstein Room and Peck Courtyard for $25 per person, including tax and your choice of a refreshing Bloody Mary or Mimosa.

The SunTrust Sunday Jazz Brunch welcomes music fans, picnic partiers and well behaved, leashed pets to the Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District. Appearing at this month’s event is Tommy Nehls Trio on the Peck Courtyard stage, Bobby Rodriguez & his Orchestra on the Esplanade Stage and Peter Betan, Marc Berner with Marco Haber – Percussion at the Connie Hoffman Gazebo.

The Broward Center will be open for free tours conducted by friendly and knowledgeable Broward Center volunteer tour guides. Tours are held at noon, 12:30 and 1 p.m. Tours also are offered on Mondays at 1 p.m. In addition to guiding tours, volunteers last season donated more than 100,000 hours greeting school groups, seating patrons at performances and performing administrative duties. Parking for the SunTrust Sunday Jazz Brunch is available at the county garage located on S.W. 2nd Street between S.W. 2nd Avenue and Brickell Avenue or at the Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District parking garage at S.W. Fifth Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.
