AVENTURA – The Second City returns to Aventura Arts & Cultural Center for two shows on Wednesday, January 27 and Thursday, January 28 at 8 p.m., bringing with them the newest slice of uproarious laughter during Hooking Up with The Second City. Billed as a show all about relationships, it features hilarious sketches, songs and improvisation from Chicago’s brightest and best.
For more than 55 years, America’s famed comedy troupe has been analyzing and laughing about relationships and this revue is a modern mix of romance, rancor and everything in between. The troupe’s humor will ignite the stage by poking fun at all the crazy things done in the name of love, through trademark improvisation, with both scripted and impromptu elements, that beckons the audience to join in.
The Second City continues to produce cutting-edge satirical revues and has launched the careers of some of the most prolific comedy superstars, including Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray and Jason Sudeikis.
